Communication

Have questions? We love questions-send them our way.Our primary form of communication is text, as it’s the quickest way to reach us (especially when the blow dryers are running). You’re also welcome to email or call.Our communication hours are typically 9am–6pm, Tuesday to Saturday.

Consultation

For complex colour services, hair extensions, or perms, we strongly recommend booking a complimentary consultation. This allows us to assess your hair’s condition, confirm what’s achievable, provide an accurate time estimate, and give you a clear quote for the service.

Confirmation

We require appointment confirmation at least 48 hours in advance. Please confirm via the Fresha app to secure your booking—thank you for your understanding.Any appointments that remain unconfirmed may be cancelled 24 hours prior to the scheduled time, unless you’ve contacted us or confirmed through the booking app.

Credit Card

We require a credit card on file when booking all hair services. For specialty services, a 50% deposit is required prior to your appointment.This policy helps us reduce no-show appointments, avoid wasted appointment times, and ensure availability for clients who are ready to book. Thank you for your understanding.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel for any reason, please give us 48 hours notice. We really appreciate it so that we can fill that spot. Appointments that are cancelled with less than 24 hours willbe charged a 50% cancellation fee. Guests that do not show up to their appointments or cancel within 24 hour of the appointment will be charged for the full service. Thank you letting us know in advance when something comes up!

Late Arrival

We understand that things come up and we will try to accommodate you as best as possible. If arriving past your appointment time we may need to shorten, change or reschedule your service so that a late arrival does not affect other client appointments. 

Modification

We love happy guests! If you need an adjustment to your service, please call us within 48 hours so we can schedule a modification appointment.

For colour adjustments, we kindly ask for as much notice as possible. This allows us to schedule appropriately and, if needed, add time to your appointment to ensure the service is completed correctly—while also avoiding wasted appointment time and keeping availability open for other guests.

Colour Services

At Bureau, we carefully measure and customise all colour and treatment products to suit your hair’s individual needs. Each service includes a standard product allocation; however, if additional product is required to achieve your desired result, an extra product allocation may be added.Any additional product allocations or add-ons will always be discussed during your consultation and confirmed with you prior to commencing the service. This approach allows us to personalise your service, deliver the best possible outcome, and minimise unnecessary waste.

Thick or Long Hair

Extra-long or thick hair often requires additional product and time to achieve the best result. If you have very long hair, thick hair, or both, please let us know when booking so we can allow extra time and apply any additional time to your appointment

Additional Guests

To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, we kindly ask that only guests receiving a salon service attend appointments. As we work with chemicals and sharp implements, this helps us maintain adequate space and focus to care for our scheduled guests safely and comfortably.
